We took your feedback to the drawing board and the Kudu is what we’ve come back with.
- 36mm 3-Section Legs – The Kudu offers fat 36mm Carbon fiber tubes in a 3-section version. This is the optimal balance between deployment time and folded length. 168cm is tall enough for people up to about 190cm (6ft4).
- Head options – For those who want speed and simplicity, the Kudu is available with the MA-40x single-action anvil head. For those who want fine control, the Kudu can be paired with the LH-47LSC ballhead, which offers individual tension and pan control.
- Improved Apex – The Kudu features the latest SA apex, which accepts both the MA-40x single-action anvil head as well as standard heads with a 3/8” screw. The anvil head mounts via a super solid rosette interface connected by a 3/8” screw, offering the best possible stiffness.
- Affordable Universal Rifle Mount/Hog Saddle – The GS-3 universal rifle mount is the best hog saddle on the market and a must-have for most hunters, but it comes at a stiff price. By getting it in kits from the factory, we’ve been able to reduce the price by a massive 30%. The standalone GS-3 is priced at R4 999.00, but in the Kudu kits it only adds R3 500.00 to the price.
- New American “X” hinges – these new joints designed by Leofoto USA can be operated with a single hand, making it much simpler and faster to open up the legs.
- Endless Accessory Options – The Kudu features a 1/4”, 3/8” and Quick Detach port on the apex, which opens up a whole world of accessory mounting options.
