The AM-4 is the larger of 2 magic arm models capable of supporting a maximum of 1250-1500g, but with greater reach than it’s smaller counterpart, the AM-3.
Leofoto Magic Arms
These articulating arms are one of the most underrated accessories available to photographers. It allows the mounting of anything from a flashlight or a mic, to a cellphone or an umbrella, onto your tripod or camera.
These arms have 3 articulating joints – one in the middle and one at each end. All three are locked/unlocked by the single lever at the elbow. ¼” threads on each end allow connection to virtually anything, from camera cages and L-brackets to microphones, spotting scopes or wireless light controllers.
Magic Arm (for 1/4″ thread)
Has a ¼” threads on each end, allowing connection to virtually anything, from camera cages and L-brackets to microphones, spotting scopes or wireless light controllers.
Magic Arm Kit (for 1/4″ or 3/8″ thread)
The Magic Arm Kit has a ball head with screw dial and 3/8″ thread on both ends, corresponding to a female connection on Leofoto’s Summit (LM) tripods and certain accessories. Using the screw dial you can easily screw the thread into the tripod instead of having to rotate the Magic arm.
The kit also includes two 3/8″ to 1/4″ adapters
